Control telemetry cost.
Keep the evidence that matters.

See how policy-aware telemetry handling can reduce unnecessary processing without abandoning auditability, incident response or the records your business must retain.

No proprietary source. No claimed customer savings. No production credentials needed.

01 / THE BUSINESS CASE

You are paying for more log volume, but still cannot say what can safely change.

Storage, ingestion and enrichment bills grow. Aggressive filtering risks discarding the evidence your teams need during an incident.

THE QUESTION

Which telemetry is eligible for change, under which policy, and what will it actually save on the invoice?

THE MEASUREMENT

Invoice-backed eligible usage, policy coverage, correctness, operating overhead and the buyer's net savings versus their existing pipeline.

THE DECISION

Keep the current stack if the added control produces no defensible incremental value.

02 / WHERE THE COST OR RISK APPEARS

Three symptoms your engineering team will recognise.

These are candidate industrial use cases—not invented customer deployments. Each can be scoped to a measurable, paid trial.

OPERATING SYMPTOM / 01

Telemetry bills keep rising

The workload grows, but no one can isolate the billable volume that can be changed safely.

What to test: Measure eligible units and costs against invoices. Retain all policy-required records.

OPERATING SYMPTOM / 02

Sensitive fields reach logs

High-volume traces can include credentials, addresses or other values no one intended to retain.

What to test: Apply approved field-level masking and verify input/output integrity. No claim of external attestation.

OPERATING SYMPTOM / 03

Filters remove useful incident evidence

A cheaper pipeline is worthless if incident response loses necessary context.

What to test: Validate retention, error-path and audit requirements before accepting a saving.

Competitive baseline required. No savings claim is valid until the result is measured against the best working solution already available to the buyer.
03 / PUBLIC INTERACTIVE DEMO

Run it. Change it. Check the result.

This page runs a small, synthetic reference model inside your browser. The proof is reproducible, but it is not a benchmark of the proprietary production component.

04 / EVIDENCE, NOT SLOGANS

What is supported—and what is not.

These numbers come from bounded historical research or the public synthetic model. None is represented as a customer achievement.

9/9Previous local synthetic regression cases
18/18Scoped OTLP/fault scenarios in historical candidate tests
0Verified customer savings claimed on this site
Scope boundary: The public demo is a separate browser-only example—not the confidential relay, a deployed tenant integration or a certified savings result.
What must a buyer-funded test still establish?

Choose one approved telemetry stream and a full billing period. Freeze the current retention requirements, compare unit costs with the existing stack, and accept only defensible net savings.

Technical acceptance means correctness, reproducible evidence, measurable overhead and an economically credible comparison against an already optimised alternative. Where those checks do not support a difference, the pilot should end without a product licence.

Independent synthetic references

Measurement boundary: Previous scoped regressions: 9/9; historical OTLP/fault scenarios: 18/18; browser suite: 9 synthetic cases. No independently verified customer savings. Independent Linux 6.18.57 reference suite: 120/120 tests (steady, burst, fault, recovery; 30 each), not a proprietary-engine benchmark.

Evidence quality & eight acceptance gates (G0–G7)

Scope-qualified, not industrially certified. The comparison must remain falsifiable and include overhead, incorrect blocks, fallbacks, failure cases and net verified completed work.

G0 · EvidenceHash-linked independent reference logs retained privately; historical evidence is bounded; no external accreditation.
G1 · CorrectnessHistorical scoped tests plus 120/120 independent reference fixtures; private engine requires separate oracle.
G2 · Incremental valueNot demonstrated versus best optimized alternative in an independent customer-equivalent test.
G3 · Tail and scaleExisting local timings are scoped, not wire-to-wire or a production p99/p99.9 SLA.
G4 · Fault/recoveryNegative and recovery fixtures on independent reference only; engine-level chaos qualification pending.
G5 · Competitive baselineOptimized OpenTelemetry Collector configured with the same retention policy, failure cases and invoice units.
G6 · Security and IPPublic summaries only; no private code, thresholds, credentials, customer traces or raw logs.
G7 · Economic acceptanceNo independently verified customer cost savings. Private isolated tests do not establish production ROI.

Raw original logs remain private; SHA-256 alone is not independent validation.

OPEN TECHNICAL EVIDENCE · PUBLIC COMMERCIAL BOUNDARY

Evidence, scope and price — before a call

What the system does — and does not

At an OpenTelemetry-compatible ingest boundary, classify records against an approved retention/privacy policy; preserve required incident and audit events, apply permitted masking or minimization, then validate evidential integrity. This does not replace a production observability platform.

Industrial baseline: Optimized OpenTelemetry Collector policy, exact approved retention, masked-field and failure-path oracles, and invoice-backed ingest/processing units.

Scoped historical results: 9/9 historical local synthetic regressions; 18/18 scoped historical OTLP/fault scenarios; browser demo 9 synthetic fixtures. No measured customer saving or production relay certification.

Customer production net benefit, compliance and superior performance against a fully optimized incumbent remain to be established.

Reproducible 720-check reference archive

720/720 independent, simplified synthetic reference-model checks: six modules, four scenarios, thirty repetitions each. These are not proprietary engine benchmarks or verified savings. Reference ns figures are not product latency.

SHA integrity establishes data consistency, not independent industrial certification. Separate private kernel traces and proprietary source are not in this archive.

€4,500 · Fixed diagnostic perimeter

Fixed-scope diagnostic: €4,500. One approved bounded telemetry stream, one isolated non-production test environment and up to 30 paired repetitions per selected configuration/scenario where feasible. Competitor and acceptance metrics agreed in writing; unsupported tests explicitly marked NOT TESTED.

Included: one 45-minute kickoff, one 45-minute results call, one email clarification thread within five business days, an 8–12-page measured evidence dossier, aggregate results, SHA-256 manifest and GO / NO-GO / INCONCLUSIVE recommendation.

Payment: 50% at accepted signature and 50% upon delivery; applicable taxes per quote. Target ten business days after complete accepted inputs. Extra meetings, re-tests, datasets, environments and external costs require separate signed change orders.

Excluded: production operations or code edits, generic architectural consultancy, on-call, certification, guaranteed savings, engine source licence and ongoing support. Customer data remain private; owner retains algorithms and source. A documented NO-GO fulfills the diagnostic deliverable. The terms are public proposals, not binding before a signed quote and any required data/privacy terms.

INCREMENTAL CONTROL · MEASURABLE VALUE

Evidence-preserving telemetry control at the ingest boundary.

Control boundary

Apply policy to eligible telemetry while retaining required incident and audit records. Add a narrowly scoped control step to an existing OTLP path rather than replacing the observability platform.

Why it adds value

Reduced chargeable ingestion is valuable only when records required by the customer survive. The economic test accounts for actual invoice units minus added processing and operating cost.

What is proven

Open the interactive synthetic Proof Lab, reproduce the inputs, inspect SHA-256 receipts and test tampering. The native engine and the commercial case have a separate qualification boundary.

Measurement method, baselines and limitations

Public synthetic scenarios and SHA-256 receipts are available. The industrial gate compares the candidate with an optimized OpenTelemetry Collector policy on exactly the same data, billing rules and failure cases.
